I think this is going to be a question for Mōdiphiüs.

Correct. I do know it was discussed early on in Conan's development.. Largely for KS backers as I recall. But, I would strongly encourage you to ask this on Modiphius's forums.

Yes, there are updates happening. I posted in the FG forums about this just now, I will link it here. In the future I will give updates weekly both here and on the FG forums on the progress made.

I started a thread on the KS discussions on this a while back. It is buried far down the chain now (heavily due to criticism of Conan the Wanderer's edits). The gist was if you were a KS backer you receive a discount for buying the FG core book and you should have received an email regarding it. Other than that, I am not aware of any other discounts Modiphius offers (currently). Like Sunspoticus suggested, check on the Modiphius' forums.
